HPs Veer 4G is FREE* at Best Buy

According to PreCentral, the HP Veer 4G will be available at Best Buy for free with a two-year service agreement. Best Buy will have only the white version to sell both onlne and in stores. Pre-orders can be placed, but requires a $50 upfront deposit that can only be refunded as a $50 Best Buy gift card.

The HP Veer 4G is an odd phone in the current climate of large displays and thin bodies. It features a 2.6-inch 320×400 touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, triband HSPA, and a 5-megapixel camera. It will have 8GB onboard storage, WiFi, AGPS, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a 910mAh battery good or up to 5hrs talk time and 300hrs standby. It will also be the first to run HP’s WebOS 2.1.
