The new Archos 7c tablet which was not slated for release until june should be on store shelves this week, if not already. Coupled with a Cortex A8 processor(runs anywhere from 600Mhz to 1GHZ+) 8 gigs of storage and eclair(android 2.1) it should perform fairly well. as for myself, I didn't read the fine print when i bought my wife her velocity micro cruz reader, and missed a key purchase factor for us...no android market, and in the case of her reader no flash support.
